Lent photo project, 2020, day 31: heard

"Do you not know?
    Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
    and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint." Is 40: 28-31

Now, young people, these are "compact discs" or "CDs". We old people thought these were the bomb when they came out because we did not have to push a button on this machine called a "tape player" to "fast forward" or "rewind" our "cassette tapes". We could push one button and hear our favorite songs over and over. It was nice! And it was even nicer when we upgraded to a remote CD player! We didn't even have to get up to hear songs again and again!

One cool thing I have noticed during this crisis is that older folks are learning how to use technology to keep in touch while younger people are learning or rediscovering old fashioned ways to entertain themselves.

The bottom box in the picture is the complete set of Led Zeppelin songs. I was sooo excited to get it.
