Lent photo project 2020, day 34: answer

We all want answers, to questions and to prayers. Some answers are easy to find--Google--while others aren't so easy. Prayers too--some we hear an answer on right away in our favor, others we have to wait, and some we get a different answer than we hoped.

There is a joke in the Christian community that when the pastor or Bible study teacher asks a question, the answer is always "Jesus." While it is a joke, it is kind of true for those following Christ.
This verse is from a conversation Jesus has with Simon Peter, after many people had abandoned Christ. Jesus asks Peter if he too wants to leave.

"Simon Peter answered him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.'” John 6:68

The words of eternal life. May we all continue to follow the words of eternal life. May we continue to pursue Him, even if our prayers aren't answered the way we like, or if we have to wait for answers. May we constantly seek Him for answers, for He is the answer and the source of all answers.

(PS--your doctor knows more than Google when it comes to health and medicine. Go to him or her with your questions.)
