Food was the official prompt for today, but Nina and I had wanted to keep "celebrate" as the standing prompt for Sundays. So I am posting a picture of celebrating with food.
I definitely miss attending church, seeing my peeps, and worshipping live. As states and cities around the country and the globe start trying to reopen, I find myself having to check my excitement for my safety and for the safety of others. I am grateful that I am in complete agreement with our mayor and governor with how to run things. I would have a hard time if I disagreed on either end.
But anyway. I have a great mother in law who cooked a meal for us! Jamaican stewed peas and rice, plus a chocolate cake! I had already made shrimp Florentine pasta for our family so I put that out as well for dinner. We are so blessed to have such abundance.
