Action

The Book of the Acts describes the work of the apostles as they founded the Christian church and spread its message throughout the Roman Empire.

The apostles were a changed group of men after Jesus' resurrection. No longer fearful and dependent, they boldly gave up everything, risked--and lost--their lives to give the message of the risen Christ to as many people as they could.

Sometimes I am afraid to claim Christ out in public. I worry about losing favor. And yet, so many followers of Christ lost their lives for Him. And of course, He gave His life to free us from sin.

May we all be bold as we turn our faith into action.

"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."--James 2:15-17

This is a picture of my kids and I in Ventimiglia, Italy. We went on a mission trip in 2016 and were helping to feed refugees in a church on this day.
