Pumpkin

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. (James 3:17-18)

This year we volunteered at the pumpkin patch at our church. We'd planned to work two shifts: one on a Wednesday, and the other on the following Monday. On that Monday, we planned to buy our own pumpkins.

Well, guess what. The pumpkins sold out over the weekend! So we didn't get to work our second shift, and we didn't get to buy any pumpkins.

But we were thrilled that the pumpkins sold out. And there's always Publix.

Here was our view of the patch on the day we volunteered. It's not the best picture, but I wasn't thinking of taking pictures for the blog when I would there. I should have been!
